CVE-2026-45067 is an injection vulnerability in Symfony's Mime component, specifically in Symfony\Component\Mime\Address. The Address value object is used for mail address fields such as to, cc, bcc, from, and reply-to, and is expected to validate input addresses. Affected versions incorrectly accepted email addresses whose local-part was an RFC 5322 quoted string containing raw carriage-return and line-feed characters. Because the address was subsequently emitted verbatim into generated message headers and into SMTP envelope commands such as MAIL FROM and RCPT TO, embedded CRLF sequences could terminate the intended field and introduce attacker-controlled additional headers or SMTP commands. The issue was fixed by rejecting addresses containing line breaks in the Address constructor.
