CVE-2026-45568 is a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Python SDK ProxyShare component of zrok affecting versions 0.4.47 through before 2.0.3. The vulnerable Flask proxy route accepts an absolute URL in the request path and passes it to Python's urllib.parse.urljoin. Because urljoin permits an absolute URL to override the configured base target, attacker-controlled input can replace the intended upstream host. The proxy then issues the request via requests.request and returns the server-side response from the attacker-selected destination. This allows the proxying application to be abused as a server-side HTTP client rather than being constrained to its configured backend.
