A double-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel RDMA/rxe subsystem affects the function rxe_srq_from_init(). The flaw occurs because the queue pointer is assigned to srq->rq.queue before the SRQ number is copied to user space. If copy_to_user() fails, the function frees the queue through rxe_queue_cleanup(), but leaves the stale pointer stored in srq->rq.queue. The caller, rxe_create_srq(), later handles the error by invoking rxe_srq_cleanup(), which calls rxe_queue_cleanup() again on the same memory. This results in a double free in kernel memory management. The upstream fix moves the assignment of srq->rq.queue until after copy_to_user() succeeds, preventing the stale pointer from being retained across the error path.
