CVE-2026-46166 is a Linux kernel vulnerability in the mac80211 Wi-Fi subsystem. The flaw is caused by unsafe iteration over a channel context list during radar detect work. While iterating the list, a call to ieee80211_dfs_cac_cancel can free and remove the currently iterated chanctx entry, leaving subsequent access to reference freed memory. This results in a slab use-after-free condition in kernel space. The issue was fixed by using safe list iteration so that list entries can be removed during traversal without dereferencing invalidated objects.
