CVE-2026-46442 is an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in Flowise prior to version 3.1.2. The issue affects the POST /api/v1/node-custom-function endpoint, which lacks route-level authorization and permits any authenticated user or valid API key to submit arbitrary JavaScript to the Custom JS Function node. In deployments where E2B_APIKEY is not configured, Flowise executes the supplied code in a NodeVM sandbox. That sandbox can be escaped, allowing access to the host process object and subsequent execution of operating system commands through child_process. The vulnerability therefore combines insufficient authorization on a code-submission endpoint with unsafe execution of attacker-controlled code, resulting in code execution on the Flowise server host.
