Sensitive credential files are exposed through static HTTP from the application webroot, allowing unauthenticated remote access to XML files containing plaintext service account and SMTP credentials. The flaw stems from insufficient protection of stored credentials and improper exposure of those files through the web server, enabling remote retrieval without authentication.
