CVE-2026-47746 is a time-of-check to time-of-use vulnerability in Misskey, an open-source federated social media platform. Affected versions are 12.37.0 and later before 2026.5.4. The flaw occurs during JSON-LD signature validation and the subsequent compaction process because the JSON-LD parsing context used for signature verification is not shared with later processing. This inconsistency allows the application to validate one interpretation of signed data and then process a different interpretation, causing it to trust information that should not be trusted. As a result, fraudulent activities can be accepted as valid.
