CVE-2026-48153 is a server-side request forgery vulnerability in Budibase, an open-source low-code platform, affecting versions prior to 3.39.0. The flaw is in the OAuth2 SDK's fetchToken function, which sends an HTTP POST request to a builder-supplied token endpoint URL using plain node-fetch. Unlike other outbound fetch paths in the codebase, this path does not apply blacklist.isBlacklisted validation, and the Joi schema for the OAuth2 URL does not restrict scheme or host. As a result, an authenticated user with builder-role access can configure a malicious or internal OAuth2 Token Endpoint and cause the Budibase backend to issue requests to internal services or link-local/cloud metadata endpoints such as 169.254.169.254. The response may then be exposed through logs, the client interface, or workspace context, enabling disclosure of sensitive internal data.

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) / information disclosure vulnerability in Budibase's OAuth2 token retrieval flow that allows an authenticated builder-role user to direct backend requests to internal resources such as cloud metadata endpoints and potentially obtain sensitive credentials or internal network data.
An SSRF vulnerability in Budibase OAuth2 SDK fetchToken logic that allows POST requests to builder-supplied URLs without the usual blacklist check. Affects Budibase versions prior to 3.39.0.
