CVE-2026-48519 is a critical unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in Langflow affecting versions prior to 1.9.2. The flaw resides in the Shareable Playground feature, referred to in the codebase as Public Flows, which is designed to allow unauthenticated users to execute workflows through a shared link. During execution of a public flow, the backend accepts attacker-controlled workflow data and permits arbitrary custom Python code to be supplied in the node template code field within the JSON payload. Because this code is executed as part of flow processing, a remote attacker can inject and run arbitrary Python on the host without authentication. The issue is exposed through the public-flow execution route and results from unsafe handling of user-supplied code in a publicly accessible workflow execution path.

This two-file repository contains a README and a standalone Python exploit (`rce.py`); it is not part of an exploit framework. The script accepts a target URL, public flow ID, and shell command. It queries Langflow's public-flow API, locates the first node with a writable `template.code.value`, injects a Python `subprocess.Popen` invocation ahead of the existing code, then posts the altered flow to the public temporary-build endpoint. Successful processing can execute the supplied command on the server without valid user credentials, subject to the target exposing a suitable shared flow. The README describes IBM Langflow Shareable Playgrounds/Public Flows through version 1.9.1 and identifies the relevant routes; the script's own banner instead labels the issue CVE-2026-48519 and Langflow <= 1.8.4.
