CVE-2026-48546 is a sandbox escape vulnerability affecting KanaDojo before version 0.1.18. The flaw is in the issue-auto-respond.yml workflow, where a Node.js vm.runInNewContext() sandbox is created but the global require function is explicitly passed into the sandbox context. This defeats the intended isolation boundary of the vm sandbox. An attacker can exploit the issue by submitting a pull request that modifies messages.cjs so that it imports arbitrary Node.js modules from within the sandboxed context. By regaining module-loading capability, the attacker can bypass sandbox restrictions and execute arbitrary code on the GitHub Actions runner.
