CVE-2026-49069 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the WPZOOM Portfolio WordPress plugin affecting versions through 1.4.21. The flaw is present in the unauthenticated AJAX action handled by load_more_items() in build/blocks/portfolio/index.php. The function processes attacker-controlled input supplied via the posts_data POST parameter, parses it, and uses the class field in generated HTML attributes without sufficient neutralization. Because the vulnerable handler is exposed through the public WordPress AJAX interface for unauthenticated users, a remote attacker can cause crafted input to be reflected into the HTML response, resulting in attribute injection and reflected XSS in the returned portfolio item markup.
