CVE-2026-49157 is an incorrect default permissions vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ affecting versions before 5.19.7 and versions from 6.0.0 before 6.2.6. The flaw is in the default Jolokia authorization configuration, which granted authenticated non-admin, low-privilege web-login accounts access to Jolokia operations that should have been restricted to administrators. As a result, low-privilege users could invoke broker management functions through the management interface, including administrative actions such as adding and removing queues. The issue represents an authorization failure caused by overly permissive default access controls on broker-management functionality.
