CVE-2026-50011 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in Netty's netty-codec-redis component. In affected releases, RedisArrayAggregator creates an ArrayList with an initial capacity derived directly from the element count declared in an inbound RESP array header. The declared count is accepted from untrusted wire data before the corresponding child messages are received or validated. An attacker can therefore submit a small RESP header that declares an extremely large number of elements, causing excessive heap allocation for the ArrayList backing array. Netty versions before 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final are affected.
