CVE-2026-50641 is a plaintext password storage vulnerability in Streamsoft Business Intelligence affecting versions prior to 6.8.0.0. The application stores users' passwords in plaintext form in the database rather than protecting them with appropriate one-way password hashing. As a result, any party able to access the underlying password store can directly recover user credentials. The issue was corrected in version 6.8.0.0, and users were required to change their passwords on first login after the fix.
