CVE-2026-51772 is a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the OpenStack Glance Image API v2. When the show_multiple_locations option is enabled in glance-api.conf, an authenticated attacker can send a crafted HTTP PATCH request to alter the locations attribute of an image while it is in the queued state. Manipulation of image location data can cause the Glance service to make server-side requests to resources reachable from the service.

The repository contains three Markdown documents and no standalone source-code files. README.md identifies it as documentation for two OpenStack Glance issues. CVE-2026-51772.md documents an authenticated SSRF proof of concept against Glance Image API v2: with show_multiple_locations enabled, a tenant can JSON-PATCH a queued image's locations field and induce Glance to fetch an arbitrary URL, including internal metadata services. CVE-2026-51773.md documents a related, higher-impact VMware glance_store driver issue: a malicious vsphere location controls the parsed server host, while _retry_request attaches a VMware VIM cookie before requesting that host. The supplied Markdown includes runnable Python listener examples and curl requests, but they are embedded demonstrations rather than repository code or a packaged exploit. The second issue can expose the Glance service account's VMware session credentials to an attacker-controlled HTTPS server.
