CVE-2026-51773 is a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the VMware datastore driver of OpenStack glance_store. The driver's _retry_request function processes a malicious image-location URI without validating the destination host before adding sensitive authentication headers. An authenticated attacker who can provide such a URI can direct the request to an external server under their control.

The repository contains three Markdown documents and no standalone source-code files. README.md identifies it as documentation for two OpenStack Glance issues. CVE-2026-51772.md documents an authenticated SSRF proof of concept against Glance Image API v2: with show_multiple_locations enabled, a tenant can JSON-PATCH a queued image's locations field and induce Glance to fetch an arbitrary URL, including internal metadata services. CVE-2026-51773.md documents a related, higher-impact VMware glance_store driver issue: a malicious vsphere location controls the parsed server host, while _retry_request attaches a VMware VIM cookie before requesting that host. The supplied Markdown includes runnable Python listener examples and curl requests, but they are embedded demonstrations rather than repository code or a packaged exploit. The second issue can expose the Glance service account's VMware session credentials to an attacker-controlled HTTPS server.

An unpatched network-accessible vulnerability affecting Debian Linux releases 12.0, 13.0, and 14.0. It requires low privileges and no user interaction, and can result in high confidentiality and integrity impact; availability impact is not indicated.
An insufficient destination-host validation flaw in the VMware datastore driver of OpenStack glance_store. An authenticated attacker can supply a crafted external image-location URI and cause sensitive authentication headers to be attached to a request sent to an attacker-controlled external server.
