CVE-2026-52748 is a missing-authentication vulnerability in the backup functionality of Kaon AR2140 routers running firmware through version 4.2.17. An unauthenticated remote attacker can invoke the configuration-backup function and retrieve the resulting backup, which is encrypted using a device-specific key. Invoking the function also causes the router to become inoperable for a substantial period. The security status of firmware versions later than 4.2.17 is unknown.
