CVE-2026-52751 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in Ghidra before version 12.1 affecting the client-side Shared-Project RMI connection workflow. The flaw exists because the client deserializes attacker-controlled objects returned over the Shared Project RMI connection without an equivalent deserialization allow-list or ObjectInputFilter. A malicious actor can craft a Ghidra project file containing a ghidra:// repository URL that is processed when the victim opens the project through the standard project-opening workflow. During project restoration, the client silently opens the referenced shared repository connection and deserializes untrusted data from an attacker-controlled endpoint. The available exploit description states that the bundled Jython 2.7.4 library can be used as part of a gadget chain to achieve arbitrary command execution on the victim system.

An unsafe deserialization remote code execution vulnerability in Ghidra before 12.1 affecting the client-side Shared-Project RMI connection code, allowing unauthenticated attackers to achieve code execution via a malicious project file and ghidra:// URL.
A high-severity unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in NSA Ghidra caused by missing client-side deserialization filtering in the Shared Project RMI connection flow, allowing arbitrary command execution when a victim opens a malicious project file.
