CVE-2026-52855 affects Pterodactyl Wings, the server control plane for the Pterodactyl game server management panel. In versions prior to 1.12.3, egg configuration-file templates improperly permit use of {{config.}} placeholders that resolve values from the full daemon configuration. A low-privileged user able to influence or use these templates can read sensitive daemon configuration values, including the daemon token, token identifier, and Docker registry configuration. The flaw is an information exposure issue in the template rendering behavior that exposes secrets outside the intended privilege boundary and can enable broader compromise of the affected node environment.
