CVE-2026-53658 is an LDAP injection vulnerability in Hyperledger Fabric CA when it is configured to use an LDAP backend for authentication. The flaw is caused by unescaped username input being incorporated into the LDAP uid search filter during enrollment processing. Because the LDAP query is influenced before password validation occurs, a remote unauthenticated attacker can manipulate the directory search logic and alter how authentication attempts are resolved against LDAP entries.
