CVE-2026-53714 is an information disclosure vulnerability in Envoy Gateway affecting deployments that use GatewayNamespaceMode. The flaw arises from missing authentication on unary gRPC requests to the xDS control plane and incomplete JWT validation for State-of-the-World discovery requests. As a result, unauthenticated clients that can reach the xDS service may obtain control plane resources that should be restricted to authorized components. Exposed data can include Secret Discovery Service material such as TLS private keys, Aggregated Discovery Service resources, backend endpoint information, and routing and listener configuration.
