CVE-2026-54515 is a property-exclusion bypass in Jackson Databind affecting vulnerable releases starting with 2.8.0. In BeanDeserializerBase.createContextual(), _handleByNameInclusion() applies per-property @JsonIgnoreProperties exclusions by removing properties from the contextual deserializer's BeanPropertyMap. When per-property @JsonFormat(ACCEPT_CASE_INSENSITIVE_PROPERTIES) processing subsequently enables case-insensitive matching, it rebuilds the map from the original this._beanProperties rather than contextual._beanProperties. This overwrites the filtered map and restores excluded properties, making them writable during deserialization of untrusted JSON.
