CVE-2026-54614 affects the MailPreview feature of CakePHP DebugKit before versions 4.10.3 and 5.2.4. The route-controlled previewName input reaches findPreview(), where it is resolved as a class name and instantiated without rejecting namespace separators or verifying that the resolved class inherits from DebugKit\Mailer\MailPreview. This externally controlled class selection permits an attacker to cause an unintended autoloadable application or dependency class to be constructed.

A CakePHP DebugKit MailPreview class-instantiation vulnerability. Insufficient validation of the preview name permits namespace bypass through backslashes and can cause arbitrary autoloaded classes to be instantiated. Impact may extend beyond resource loading when constructor/destructor gadget behavior in installed PHP libraries enables file modification or deletion.
An unsafe-reflection vulnerability in CakePHP DebugKit's MailPreview feature that permits arbitrary constructor execution under specific debug-mode and hostname conditions.
A medium-severity improper control of code generation/class selection vulnerability (CWE-470) in CakePHP DebugKit's MailPreview controller. A locally or allowlist-accessible attacker, when DebugKit and debug mode are enabled, can supply a route-controlled class name to trigger construction of an unintended application class, enabling arbitrary constructor execution and limited application-information disclosure.
