CVE-2026-54639 is a prototype pollution vulnerability in Style Dictionary, a build system for creating cross-platform styles. The flaw affects versions starting in 4.3.0 and before 5.4.4. It is reachable through direct use of the convertTokenData utility when invoked with object output, and indirectly through the Expand API or the Style Dictionary transform lifecycle. Processing malicious token data containing special keys such as proto can result in pollution of Object.prototype, causing attacker-controlled properties to be introduced into the global prototype chain. The issue is especially significant when Style Dictionary is embedded as part of a Node.js server-side integration, where untrusted token input may be processed at runtime.
