CVE-2026-54789 is an out-of-bounds memory-access vulnerability in the state-cookie parser of mod_auth_openidc, the OpenID Connect relying-party and OAuth 2.0 resource-server module for Apache HTTP Server. Versions prior to 2.4.19.4 can process a value-less cookie token lacking an equals sign incorrectly, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and a one-byte out-of-bounds write. Version 2.4.19.4 corrects the parser by terminating its scan at the string terminator and rejecting value-less tokens.
