CVE-2026-55236 is an authorization flaw in langgraph-api affecting LangGraph Server run creation. Incomplete assistant authorization allows a user to reference another user's private assistant during run creation. When the authorization logic does not consistently enforce owner-based filtering across assistant read, search, and run or cron creation paths, the server may return sensitive assistant metadata, configuration, and context in the run-creation response. The issue stems from inconsistent authorization coverage between related assistant access paths rather than a memory-safety defect or input-parsing flaw.
