CVE-2026-55969 is an integer overflow or wraparound vulnerability in Apache Thrift affecting the C++, c_glib, Go, netstd, Delphi, and Haxe bindings before version 0.24.0. The flaw is located in TProtocol::checkReadBytesAvailable(), a routine involved in validating readable byte counts during protocol processing. An attacker can trigger an arithmetic overflow during size or bounds validation, causing the check to behave incorrectly and undermining intended protections around input length handling. Apache Thrift 0.24.0 fixes the issue.
