CVE-2026-56096 is an improper neutralization of special elements in a data query vulnerability affecting an unspecified extension that forwards a user-supplied search-query parameter to Apache Solr. The extension does not constrain advanced Solr query syntax, allowing wildcard expressions, field selectors, range queries, and arbitrary boolean constructs to be interpreted by the backend search engine. This enables unauthenticated blind enumeration of indexed field names and extraction of stored indexed values.
