Incorrect JavaScript regular-expression context tracking permits pathological input to prematurely terminate an unescaped forward slash interpreted as part of a JavaScript regexp literal. This can cause subsequently rendered attacker-controlled data to be treated as executable or otherwise arbitrary page content rather than being safely escaped.
