CVE-2026-57834 is an HTTP request smuggling vulnerability in Apache Traffic Server caused by improper handling of malformed chunked messages. An attacker can send specially crafted chunked HTTP requests that are parsed inconsistently, enabling request boundary desynchronization between Apache Traffic Server and downstream systems. This can allow a smuggled request to be interpreted as part of another request stream. The issue affects Apache Traffic Server versions 8.0.0 through 8.1.9, 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, and 10.0.0 through 10.1.3.
