CVE-2026-59682 is a path-traversal vulnerability in OpenRGB through version 1.0rc3 in handling of the SDK server SAVE_PROFILE message. The server accepts a client-supplied profile path without adequate validation or canonicalization, permitting traversal sequences to escape the intended profile directory. A client can consequently cause OpenRGB to create or truncate and overwrite files writable by the OpenRGB process. The associated filename-sanitization fix applies to profile save, load, and deletion operations.
