CVE-2026-59683 is an arbitrary file-write vulnerability in the OpenRGB SDK network protocol and an extension of CVE-2026-59682. An unauthenticated client can use UPDATEMODE to place attacker-controlled non-null string data into LED profile content, then use SAVE_PROFILE path handling to write that content to an arbitrary filesystem location. When the OpenRGB daemon is privileged, the combined primitive permits attacker-controlled content to be written with root privileges. Affected release candidates beginning with OpenRGB 1.0rc1 are reported as fully affected.
