CVE-2026-59690 is a missing authorization vulnerability affecting multiple Progress Software products, including LoadMaster, ECS Connection Manager, Connection Manager for ObjectScale, MOVEit WAF, and Multi-Tenant deployments. The flaw exists in the REST API, where privileged administrative operations are exposed without being properly restricted according to the authenticated user's assigned role. As a result, an attacker who has valid low-privilege credentials can invoke administrative functionality that should be unavailable at that privilege level, creating a path to unauthorized administrative control and potential system compromise.
