CVE-2026-59826 is a critical code injection vulnerability in Metabase, an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics platform. In affected versions, one database-creation code path failed to validate unsafe H2 connection properties. An authenticated administrator could exploit this flaw by registering a crafted H2 database connection that abuses those unsafe properties, causing arbitrary Java code to execute on the Metabase server. The issue affects Metabase versions 1.55.0 through before 1.58.15.1, 1.59.x before 1.59.12, 1.60.x before 1.60.6.3, and 1.61.x before 1.61.2.

Critical code injection vulnerability in Metabase caused by improper validation of unsafe H2 database connection properties in the data source creation code path, allowing an authenticated attacker with elevated privileges to exploit it over the network and potentially achieve arbitrary code execution.
A critical authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in Metabase's H2 database handling that allows arbitrary Java code execution via a crafted H2 connection configuration that bypasses validation.
A critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability in Metabase caused by unsafe H2 connection property validation bypass on a database creation code path, enabling an authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary Java code on the Metabase server.
