CVE-2026-59889 is an authorization bypass in Jackson Databind's handling of properties annotated with both @JsonView and @JsonUnwrapped. UnwrappedPropertyHandler.processUnwrapped() replays buffered JSON and invokes prop.deserializeAndSet() without checking prop.visibleInView(ctxt.getActiveView()). Consequently, attacker-controlled JSON can populate fields or setter properties excluded by the active deserialization view. The flaw was introduced in version 2.18.0 and is fixed in releases 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1. Unauthorized property binding can cause application-state changes and privilege escalation.
