CVE-2026-6017 is a missing authentication vulnerability in firmware for KAON PG5298A and PG5298B routers. An unauthenticated attacker can query a specific exposed endpoint and retrieve sensitive information from the device, including the password for the administrative portal. The issue affects PG5298A firmware versions prior to 3.0.82 and PG5298B firmware versions prior to 4.0.82. The flaw stems from the absence of authentication checks protecting a critical function that exposes sensitive administrative data.
