CVE-2026-6060 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the SQL Box component of the OTRS administrative interface. The flaw allows uncontrolled resource consumption when crafted or excessively expensive SQL operations are executed through the admin SQL Box, causing the web server process to consume excessive resources until it is terminated by the operating system or otherwise becomes unavailable. The issue affects multiple OTRS release lines, including 7.0.X, 8.0.X, 2023.X, 2024.X, 2025.X, and 2026.X before 2026.3.X.

Small 4-file Python proof-of-concept repository demonstrating a QUIC handshake amplification issue labeled CVE-2026-6060. The repository contains two code files: `quic_server_sim.py`, which is the core vulnerable simulation, and `exploit_quic_amplification.py`, which is only a conceptual exploit stub. The server simulation opens a UDP socket on `0.0.0.0:4433`, receives up to 1024 bytes, and always replies with a 1200-byte payload via `send_quic_initial()` without performing any source-address/token validation. This models a QUIC anti-amplification/address-validation bypass scenario that could enable reflection and DDoS amplification if combined with source-IP spoofing. The exploit script does not actually implement spoofing or packet crafting; it merely accepts an optional victim IP (default `127.0.0.1`) and prints explanatory text. As a result, the repository is a valid exploit-oriented POC/simulation rather than an operational attack tool. No persistence, shell, command execution, or post-exploitation payloads are present. The main capability is demonstrating the network amplification primitive and the vulnerable server behavior.
