CVE-2026-61498 is an unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability in Vitec Flamingo 4.12.2. The flaw is present in the administrative graph-generation endpoint admin/ajax/gen_graphs.php, where attacker-controlled HTTP GET parameters are incorporated into shell commands without proper sanitization. Specifically, the start, end, key, and format parameters can be supplied with shell metacharacters, and the script passes these values to the operating system through passthru(). This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands without authentication. The issue is particularly severe because the web server execution context is configured with passwordless sudo access, enabling command execution to occur with root privileges.
