CVE-2026-6186 is a remotely exploitable buffer overflow affecting UTT HiPER 1200GW devices up to version 2.5.3-170306. The flaw is in the handling of the NatBind argument by the /goform/formNatStaticMap component, where the strcpy function copies attacker-controlled input without adequate bounds checking. This unsafe copy operation can overflow a destination buffer, causing memory corruption. Public reporting indicates the issue is reachable remotely and that exploit details have been disclosed publicly.
