CVE-2026-6276 is an origin-validation vulnerability in libcurl versions 7.71.0 through 8.19.0 inclusive. When an application sets a custom Host: header for an HTTP request and subsequently reuses the same easy handle without that header, libcurl retains stale host information used for cookie selection. Consequently, cookies intended for the first host can be sent to a different host in the subsequent request. The curl command-line tool is not affected. The vulnerability is fixed in libcurl 8.20.0.

A stale host-information vulnerability in libcurl can leak cookies intended for one host to another when an easy handle is reused after removing a custom Host header. The advisory lists exploit availability and recommends updating curl and related packages to version 1:8.14.1-2+deb13u3+e2 or later. Its CVSS v3 score is 7.5 (High), although the listed availability-only impact vector does not align with the cookie-leak description.
