CVE-2026-63089 is a credential disclosure vulnerability in WireGuard Easy (wg-easy) through version 15.3.0 caused by cryptographically weak generation of one-time link tokens. The application derives the token using CRC32 over a random value constrained to the range 0-999, reducing the effective search space to at most 1000 candidate tokens per client ID. An unauthenticated network attacker can enumerate candidate tokens against the one-time-link configuration route, which is exposed without authentication, lacks rate limiting, and does not validate token expiration. Successful brute-forcing of a valid token allows retrieval of a WireGuard peer's sensitive configuration material, including the peer's private key and preshared key, enabling subsequent impersonation of that peer on the VPN network.
