CVE-2026-63135 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in YOURLS, a self-hosted PHP URL shortener, affecting versions 1.5.1 through 1.10.3. The flaw arises from unsafe handling of the HTTP Referer header in the redirect logging and statistics pipeline. YOURLS stores attacker-controlled referrer data via functions including yourls_get_referrer(), yourls_sanitize_url_safe(), and yourls_log_redirect(), later derives a domain value during statistics generation, and embeds that value into inline JavaScript used to render referrer charts through functions including yourls_get_domain(), yourls_stats_pie(), and yourls_google_array_to_data_table(). Because the chart-building logic concatenates labels into JavaScript without proper JavaScript-string escaping, an unauthenticated attacker can poison the stored statistics for an existing short URL with crafted referrer input. When an administrator or a viewer of a public statistics page opens the affected statistics view, attacker-supplied JavaScript executes in the YOURLS origin.
