CVE-2026-63382 is an HTTP request-smuggling vulnerability in Libevent's evhttp parser. Affected versions inconsistently parse duplicate Transfer-Encoding headers, comma-separated Transfer-Encoding values, and chunked-message framing terminated with bare line feeds. Header lookup can select only the first duplicate Transfer-Encoding field; prior logic fails to recognize valid Transfer-Encoding lists ending in chunked; and chunk parsing accepts non-strict line endings. These parsing discrepancies can cause Libevent and an upstream or downstream HTTP proxy to assign different request boundaries.
