CVE-2026-63633 is a heap-based buffer overflow in FreeRDP versions prior to 3.28.0. The Opus decoding path in freerdp_dsp_decode_opus incorrectly ensures capacity on an internal buffer rather than on the caller-supplied output stream to which libopus writes decoded PCM. An attacker-controlled RDP server can negotiate the Opus audio format and cause a decoded frame to exceed the fixed-size destination stream used by the RDP sound client channel, resulting in a heap overwrite.
