CVE-2026-64320 is an out-of-bounds heap-read vulnerability in the Linux kernel NVMe target discovery function nvmet_execute_disc_get_log_page(). The function checks only the dword alignment of the host-supplied 64-bit Log Page Offset, then adds that offset to an allocated discovery log-page buffer. It passes the resulting pointer and host-requested transfer length to nvmet_copy_to_sgl() without validating source-buffer bounds. Because the discovery subsystem permits unauthenticated access, a peer reaching the target over TCP, RDMA, or Fibre Channel can submit a crafted Discovery Get Log Page request to retrieve adjacent kernel memory. An offset addressing unmapped kernel memory can instead fault the kernel memory copy and crash the target host, or cause a panic when panic_on_oops=1.

A pre-authentication out-of-bounds heap read in Linux kernel NVMe target Discovery Get Log Page handling. A patched kernel is available through RHSA-2026:77216 and requires a reboot. The advisory does not describe the extent of any information exposure.
A pre-authentication out-of-bounds heap read in the Linux kernel NVMe target implementation's Discovery Get Log Page handling.
A pre-authentication out-of-bounds heap-read vulnerability in the Linux kernel NVMe target discovery controller. An attacker who can reach the target over TCP, RDMA, or FC can supply an unchecked discovery-log offset to disclose kernel memory or crash the host. An empirical test leaked 81 kernel pointers, but the content does not report exploitation in the wild. The listed CVSS v3 base score is 9.1. Updating the Echo linux package and related packages to version 6.12.96-1 or later addresses the flaw.
A vulnerability addressed by an Oracle Linux 9 kernel-package patch.
