CVE-2026-64805 is an arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting JetBrains WebStorm versions before 2026.2. The flaw can be triggered before the user grants project trust, through project-local package-manager tooling associated with a malicious project. This creates a pre-trust execution path in which opening or loading an attacker-controlled project can cause code from project-local tooling to run before the IDE’s trust decision is enforced. The issue is classified as CWE-829.
