CVE-2026-64830 is a heap-based buffer overflow in FFmpeg’s VobSub subtitle demuxer affecting versions 2.1 through 8.1.2. A crafted VobSub subtitle input can declare more distinct stream identifiers than the fixed-size subtitle-queue array supports. Processing this input causes ff_subtitles_queue_insert() to write beyond the array boundary, corrupting adjacent heap memory.
