CVE-2026-65611 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the nnn file manager caused by improper sanitization of the path variable. A specially crafted directory name containing a single quote followed by shell syntax can be embedded into a shell command generated by nnn during its batch copy or move workflow. When a user enters the attacker-controlled directory in nnn and invokes the affected workflow, the injected shell syntax is executed by the spawned shell with the privileges of the nnn process. The issue has been confirmed in nnn version 5.2; a complete vulnerable version range was not provided.
