CVE-2026-65647 is an improper symlink-resolution vulnerability (CWE-59) in the Plesk Site Import and Plesk Migrator extensions. The extensions do not safely resolve symbolic links before accessing files, enabling an authenticated remote user to manipulate file access and execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

This four-file repository is an operational proof of concept for an authenticated local-tenant-to-root RCE in Plesk Site Import on Linux. REPORT.md documents the exploitation sequence and browser-console requests. create_sym.php is uploaded to a victim subscription and executes a temporary Python helper that creates a specially named symlink in the subscription document root. The symlink resolves to Plesk's root-owned site-import Python utils package, while its pathname is crafted as a valid Python statement sequence. The attacker submits a Site Import directory mapping whose source path is /root/plesk_migrator//// and whose target path is the crafted symlink name. After path normalization, AdjustPaths finds the shipped /root/plesk_migrator constant and replaces it with attacker-controlled Python while following the symlink into the protected package. A subsequent run-tasks request starts a fresh privileged interpreter, importing and executing the altered module as UID 0. The included payload runs touch /tmp/poc and restores the changed constant. ftp/Dockerfile and ftp/server.py provide a disposable Python-based FTP plus HTTP/PHP server, serving /srv/www on HTTP port 80, FTP port 21, and passive FTP ports 30000-30009, to satisfy Site Import source discovery and migration requirements.
