CVE-2026-66152 is a path traversal vulnerability in the OPSWAT tarball extraction component of SonicWall NetExtender Linux Client versions 10.3.5 and earlier. A crafted archive can use path traversal sequences to cause extracted files to be written outside the intended extraction directory. Because the affected extraction operation executes with root privileges, successful exploitation permits arbitrary file writes as root.
